Eduard and René Cronjé got married on Saturday 26 November 2016 at Zakopane Lodge in Gauteng. They waited a long time for their very special day and wanted it to be stress-free and wonderful.

“Our requirements were for the décor to be simple, rustic and in neutral colours,” says René. “We did not want a lot of flowers and we just wanted it to be the best day of our lives.”

Silverstar became involved after a friend suggested the company to the couple for décor hire. The team ended up doing all the flowers and décor for the wedding.

“Maryke and her team took everything I said to heart and the results exceeded all of my expectations,” says René. “All Maryke’s suggestions and help ensured that it was indeed a stress free wonderful wedding.

“After our first demo table I knew Maryke understood my ideas and would make it happen just the way I wanted. I trusted her completely to make it work and she did!”

Silverstar even went the extra mile by fixing problems that happened on the day.

“The table names where laser cut and the wood was not sealed,” explains René. “The names absorbed water and they broke.

“Even though this was not supplied by Silverstar, their setup team solved the problem by using a glue gun to fix the names. They did such a good job that no-one even noticed!”
